The Auckland Electric Vehicle Expo 2014
This Expo was started two years ago with the birth of a self-funded documentary project under the name of EV Builders, The documentary follows the conversion of a 1990 Toyota Sera into an electrically powered vehicle. The project aims to explore and investigate the work of local individuals and organisations that have been working in this field while documenting the process of conversion of an ordinary car by a couple of average blokes.
Now the conversion if complete following the success of the previous three years we have decided to continues the event this year. ” This year we are bringing you this expo in co - operation with APEV and Motat.
This year the EXPO we will have more EV’s on display and even the new Tesla Model S and Tesla Roaster. The days program will packed displays and give you chance to chat with EV drivers and builders. We will also be screening the EV builders documentary series plus many other EV related films.
